Big Bang’s Daesung appears on ‘K-Pop Star’, pointed but thoughtful
Big Bang member Daesung appeared on a variety show after a long while away.
On the January 29th installment of SBS’s ‘K-Pop Star’, the YG training system was revealed with the casting audition finals coming up. The contestants attended the monthly evaluations.
Those who set out as the judges next to Yang Hyun Suk were 2NE1′s Park Bom & CL, and Big Bang’s Taeyang & Daesung. After the car accident last year, Daesung had been taking time for introspection. Recently Daesung has started working through MBN’s ‘What’s Up’ and Big Bang is about to make their comeback but it has been a long while since his appearance on a variety show.
After listening to a contestant’s performance, Daesung said, “I heard this a lot before too but the voice is sweet but the tone is unstable” pointing out sharply.
But Daesung also added, “If you make it a habit to speak with strength at all times, the voice when you sing has more strength too”, thoughtfully sharing an advice from experience.
YG building, good enough to earn the praise of Boa and Park Jin Young
YG Entertainment‘s building has been revealed to the public.
On the January 29th episode of SBS ‘Survival Audition: K-POP Star’, the training process of the selected contestants were shown.
The contestants who were selected by YG were able to visit the agency’s famous building. As soon as they entered the building there was a big screen displaying the music video of YG singers and the new YG recruits were blown away in every room they entered.
The contestants got to see the recording studio with the top of the line audio equipments where 2NE1 and Big Bang‘s music were made. They also visited the YG restaurant situated in the basement, used exclusively by YG artists. CEO Yang Hyun Suk started training the new recruits to stay ahead of SM and JYP.

I'm so embarrass for that girl at the end of this video. Her voice cracked in front of BOM, DAESUNG, TAEYANG, and CL! Omg. =( and IDK what they said to her, but I don't think it was so nice. Her face reaction was so happy about their replies. She just needs a lot of practicing and I think she will be a good singer. FIGHTING!

YG is in the good mood, while watching the performers, even you can hear him laugh.. but when it comes to deliberation.. scary..
i just know YB and Dae gives encouragement to the performers.. even bom and cl..

i watched some episodes of kpop star and i recognize some of them..
actually i think they sang better previously when facing only the judges of kpop star(JYP,BoA & papaYG)..
but once you put them to sing in front of YB,Dae,CL n Bom, i guess it got to their nerves n screwed their voices a bit..
i mean anyone would be equally intimidated or nervous when facing these 4..
still can't help but think what will happen to them if all BB n 2ne1 members were all present though..
they might not even sing a note right..

To sing in front of YG's CEO and best names-they are so lucky but it takes lots of courage!
I really wonder what Daesung says to the contestants; singing is Dae's life and he takes it quite seriously anything related to music;I won't be surprised he picks up teaching music or training new talents as a job beside his career with BB!
