Updated! Taeyang finishes "I Need A Girl" solo activities, preparation for concert begins [NEWS]

On August 1, BIGBANG's Taeyang performed his solo song, "I Need A Girl", on Inkigayo. This performance will be the last stage for "I Need A Girl".

With his comeback last July 1, Taeyang's solo has climbed the charts and won on Inkigayo, Music Bank and M! Countdown. I Need A Girl also climbed international charts on iTunes.

Taeyang will continue his Japanese activities with Big Bang and start preparing for his solo concert scheduled in September. [Source: Newsen]

EDIT: YBMania asked/clarified the article to Newsen's writer. And it seems that what he actually meant is that Taeyang will TEMPORARILY suspend his solo activities for BIGBANG's upcoming Japanese activities.

Big Bang #2 Best Male Idol Group on TVN Poll [NEWS]

Through tvN Gil’s Newton Chart, a poll based on the best male & female idol groups was held between July 26th and August 1st recently. With 50% votes coming from a selection committee group, 30% from internet votes and 20% from mobile votes, 20 groups from each male & female category were selected.

BIGBANG ranked #2 in the poll with 12,176 votes, only 23 points behind DBSK, who's at #1. (Numbers in bracket denote # of votes):
