Wow! 3 out of the 5 albums on the list are Big Bang's. This ranking is for the most number of sales during the first week of release. Bet they'll get another spot when they release their comeback album this year.

T.O.P's toys in Turn It Up MV? [MISC]

You all probably know that T.O.P loves Be@rbricks so it isn't surprising that there's one in his Turn It Up music video. But what's interesting about the Be@rbrick in the video is that it's super limited because there are only 150 pieces of it in the world.

Pretty neat stuff. Got this info from Haute Issue, a fashion blog about Big Bang. The author was able to i.d. more stuff from the video. You can check it out here.

Big Show 2010 Articles [NEWS]

A lot of articles are coming out about the concert and most of them are saying the same thing so I won't translate them all. Here are some bits of the articles (that I think are) worth sharing.

T.O.P, "I still want to do Big Show in 2050"
T.O.P unveiled the music video his new solo song, Turn It Up, during Big Bang's 3-day concert last January 29-31. He also told the audience that he still wants to do Big Show in 2050.

Countdown to YG-LG 'Lollipop Project 2' begins! [NEWS]

Taking the Kpop world by storm with the hook song and vivid colours concept with 'Lollipop' in 2009, coming early February, Big Bang will be showing their new features through 'Lollipop Project 2' which is expected to set the new culture code in the new year.

LG CYON will be teaming up with YG Entertainment again for this project set to unleash in February. The first project was composed and produced by Teddy and G-Dragon, and was well received by music fans sparking off interests in various UCC videos produced and great following in the dance steps and fashion styles.

Back then, group 2NE1 also rose to stardom with their participation in this project. And for this time, it is known that Big Bang will be working with a new partner for this project.

Currently, 'Lollipop Project 2' is in the preparation stage and is done in secrecy. Much anticipation is for the new features that Big Bang members will show for this new project.

G-Dragon, "Taeyang was my support when we were trainees" [NEWS]

G-Dragon acted along with Taeyang in Jinusean's Ayo MV. They were both 13 years old at that time that's why they became friends easily.

"When I first met Youngbae, I was like, "Oh, Who's this?" We became friends right away. We never fought. Probably because our personalities are opposite. When I was a kid, I was shy but I got confident during my teenage years. Youngbae was more bubbly when we were young. But now, he's calm and serious. He told the president then, "I want to join YG" and he told Youngbae (in a joke), "Okay, you can come."

IU talks about Taeyang in an interview again [NEWS]

Q. You said you want to get a boyfriend this year. I heard your ideal man is Big Bang's Taeyang?
IU: Well, my ideal type is a guy who is thoughtful and kind-hearted. The reason I like Taeyang-sunbaenim [senior] is that he smiles so warmly and he was the first person who made me get goosebumps just by looking at him performing on stage. He was so awesome! It made me wonder how many people there are in Korea who can dance as well as him.

Q. Do you keep in touch with Taeyang at all?
IU: No, I can't. I don't even know his number. It's a wall I'll never overcome.

Big Bang Big Show 2010 Stage Design [PHOTOS]

From the same studio who designed the stages of Big Show 2009 and Shine A Light, here is a peek on how Big Bang's Big Show 2010 concert stage was created. I looked at YouJam Studio's portfolio and it's really impressive. They were also in-charge of stage designs of other YG concerts like Big Bang's Great Concert and Se7en's Japan Tour.

They have also worked with other big names in the Korean entertainment industry like Shinhwa, Lee Hyori, V.O.S, Rain and Kwon Sang Woo. Their most recent project before Big Show 2010 was SNSD's first concert. Really cool stuff. See the pictures under the cut.

T.O.P’s first solo song MV revealed during ‘Big Show’ concert! [NEWS]

During Big Bang’s independent concert ‘Big Show’ last concert performance on 31st January, T.O.P’s solo song MV was revealed. In the black-and-white video shown, Big Bang TOP’s upcoming solo song – with strong beat and rap, to be revealed within the first half of this year was revealed.

Meanwhile, about 13,000 fans turned up for the concert performance that day. In the 3 concert performances from 29th till 31st January, the concert saw about 40,000 fans turnout.
