Q. So in G-Dragon and CN Blue's case, do you think they're guilty of plagiarism?
A. I don't think that's up to me to decide. But if someone announces "This has been plagiarised", it'll always sound a little similar to people who listen to it afterwards.
In the case of 'Loner', there are a lot of similar songs. After making a particular beat line, there aren't that many melodies that can be made out of that one rhythm to be honest. There's definitely a technical limit there, and even if songwriters do come up with slightly similar melodies it isn't that unusual.
It's the same for G-Dragon. I personally think G-Dragon's 'Heartbreaker' was one of the best songs of 2009.
